🎭… the ghostly opera chronicles a young, awkward lad on a quest to become a Braveheart, who set out on his own to accomplish what men before him assumed impossible.
However taxing, frightful, lonely, and foolish to others, the feisty, determined lad confronted his ghosts in a Unicorn onesie and demanded their respect. Confused by the happy-go-lucky boy challenging the slack jawed ghosts to a dance off, to the dismay of all involved, in due course the lad earned their trust and applause.
In gaining favor and restoring laughter to the Overlook, unlike the entitled, ego-driven sourpusses preceding him, the boy ultimately liberated himself from the maze custom-built to entrap him.
Never let anyone tell your story, least of all by those who insist that you’re undeserving of love.
When being hunted, don’t panic or overreact. Cover your footprints in the snow. Unlike those who came before me, I paid attention to the cautionary lessons that ultimately imprisoned my parents.
I understood early in life that to escape the Overlook Hotel, one must not only have wit, discernment, and heartfelt intentions but a healthy imagination and a good sense of humor to boot.
After all, nobody likes a happiness hater. Lest we forget, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
