Today you moved to Los Angeles and our long goodbye came to an end. When I hugged you before you left, I wanted to let you know that I am proud of us. We handled the unwinding of us like gentlemen. We put our emotions and pride to the side for the sake of each other, which is a testament to the strength of our bond. I don’t need legal documents or labels to tell me otherwise or to define who you are to me. The past 12 years have not been without their challenges, but I take comfort in knowing that our friendship has never been stronger.
